Âpres ski

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to take the motorcycle to l'Audibergue, a ski station in the mountains of southern France. Even though it was a warm spring day close to the sea, as we traveled the narrow winding roads into the mountain the temps dropped, so I was happy when we arrived for our planned activity, eating at the cosy and rustic chalet restaurant Le Christiana. That's right, no skiing for us on this day, just sitting at a fireside table and enjoying lots and lots and LOTS of delicious French food and bread and wine and cheese and dessert and coffee. After, we had to go for a walk to wake up before getting back on the bike. On our way home we stopped in the hilltop ancient village of Gourdon to enjoy the sweeping views.
